Looking back on Oghak’s journey and attempting to summarize it, we can affirm that over the past ten years, Oghak has advanced towards fulfilling its mission with small yet steady steps. Its mission is to empower Armenian women by ensuring their physical, mental, and psychological well-being, while also creating opportunities for different segments of the Armenian community to connect, support one another, get to know one another, seek one another, and love one another.
We are happy that throughout these years, Oghak has succeeded in contributing to the progress of society in Armenia, by introducing both individuals and institutions to innovative, modern approaches and scientific tools in this field.
In the coming months, several events are scheduled: testimonies written or recorded by participants of Oghak’s programs, the release of a documentary and a booklet on Oghak’s ten years of activity, as well as a closing ceremony that will feature both a practical and an official segment.
If we look back on the past decade—through the written and recorded testimonies of members and professionals who have collaborated with Oghak—we can affirm that Oghak NGO has built a legacy of work far richer, more impactful, and more nationally dedicated than its scale alone would indicate. This legacy now calls upon Oghak to carry its mission forward and to broaden its scope in the years ahead.
We extend our gratitude to all those who, during these ten years, have contributed to the growth and expansion of Oghak’s activities. A special word of thanks goes to Hratch and Elizabeth Sisserian for their unwavering support.
