I’m Ani, and I’m 13 years old. When I was 9, I became fascinated by “Svaz” embroidery after watching my aunt work on it, and I wanted to learn how to do it myself. So, at the age of 9, I picked up a needle and fabric for the first time and started embroidering. Now, at 13, I have become skilled in “Svaz” embroidery. I have created several pieces and participated in exhibitions. I am currently attending the Oghak NGO, where I am learning the “Ayntab” embroidery style.
“Svaz” embroidery holds significant cultural and historical value. My greatest desire is to replicate that value in the clothing I will design in the future, helping to preserve our national heritage.
